A veteran family business in Townsville, set up to do security the way it was taught to us: plan first, turn up early, write everything down.
Our team
OPFOR Security is a veteran, family-owned business. We take a systematic approach to the way we operate and to the processes we build for every client. This ensures our people deliver a consistent, gap-free service built on integrity, trust, high-calibre behaviour and reliable results.
Turn up on time. Brief before the shift starts. Hand over properly when it ends.
That matters more in this industry than it might seem. Most security failures are not dramatic. They are a gate nobody checked, a radio nobody charged, or a handover that never happened.
We build the systems, processes and teams to make sure those small things do not quietly become big problems.
Every client has a dedicated point of contact who knows the site, understands the operation and knows what is expected. You are not calling a queue, and you are not explaining your venue or requirements to somebody new every time you need support.
Licensing and insurance
Security is a regulated industry in Queensland. Ask any provider for these before you sign, including us.
- Firm licence
- Queensland security firm licence, issued by the Office of Fair Trading.
- Individual
- Our officers hold a current licence for the class of work they do.
- Insurance
- Full public liability cover. A certificate of currency is available on request before work starts.
- Training
- Training through accredited RTOs, in house upskilling and refresher training and site-specific briefings before every job.
Where we work
We are based in Townsville and work across North Queensland. Being locally based means we can respond promptly when support is needed, while also taking the time to properly prepare for planned events and ongoing security requirements.
For planned events, we can meet with you beforehand, walk the ground, identify potential issues and make sure the right systems and people are in place before the job begins.
